Blackboard Collaborate Ultra is a real-time video conferencing tool that lets you add files, share applications, and use a virtual whiteboard to interact. It is available in all WVU eCampus courses as well as by request. Collaborate can be used for virtual classrooms, office hours and meetings to provide more possibilities for effective learning experiences and interactions. Collaborate with the Ultra experience opens right in your browser, so you don't have to install any software to join a session. Be sure that you are using Google Chrome, or Firefox for the best experience.

Through our Collaborate license agreement, our customers receive 24/7 support from Collaborate. Visit the Knowledge Base first and then if additional help is needed, please call their toll-free number or Submit a Ticket directly at the site given below.

If sufficient support is not received from Collaborate or there appears to be a connection problem between Collaborate and WVU eCampus then log a ticket with the ITS Service Desk .
Use & Training Information
Collaborate will be piloted with a targeted group during the spring 2019 semester.
Collaborate Ultra can be accessed through WVU eCampus by adding a tool link on
the course menu. Alternatively, these links may be added in any content area
under the Tools dropdown menu.
Collaborate Ultra currently has a limit of 250 concurrent users. Instructors who
are planning to have more than concurrent users should
log a ticket with the ITS Service Desk. The service desk will need at least
72 business hours prior notice to complete the request.
